  • Our internal training programme, ‘The Bronte House Training Academy’ inspires and empowers our team to have the knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality care, and specialist dementia care. This includes courses developed by Bronte House, as well as external courses to ensure best practice.

    All our team are being trained in the Positive Approach to Dementia Care (PAC) developed by internationally renowned dementia expert, Teepa Snow.

Founder and Registered Manager

Since she was a young girl, Chantal has always been passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people, people living with dementia and those that support them.

Chantal does things differently with Bronte House. She understands the human needs of older people and people living with dementia and has designed Bronte House to enable people to continue to live the life they want, the way they want to live in the comfort of their own home. She takes a dynamic, empathetic and innovative approach to care, ensuring the individual is always at the heart of everything we do at Bronte House.

Kerry Lent

Donna Crockford

Care Quality and Experience Manager

With over 40 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience, Donna is passionate about supporting individuals with maintaining their dignity and independence, and promoting their quality of life at home.

Donna’s proactive approach to collaborative and person-centred working ensures that the individuals voices are always heard, and their values and beliefs are upheld. Her focus on ensuring that the individuals wellbeing, safety and autonomy is also central to the care that she delivers. Donna’s calm, compassionate and empathetic manner also flows into her role in leadership, where she supports staff to feel valued, supported and confident within their role.

Outside of work Donna enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren and family. She also likes to spend time on relaxing holidays around the UK in her caravan, baking, meeting up with friends for coffee and watching F1 (Donna was raised in Brackley where Mercedes are based and she worked at Silverstone in her youth selling programmes).

Specialist Dementia Advisor

Kerry has worked in care since 2011 and really enjoys supporting people in their own homes and building good relationships with them and their families. She is a qualified mental health nurse, with a particular interest in dementia (both professional and from personal experience).

Kerry says “I have taken on the role of Specialist Dementia Advisor to support the team to continue to deliver excellent person centred care to our clients living with cognitive impairment. I am passionate about ensuring that people living with dementia and their families are well informed and supported. I firmly believe it is possible to life a fulfilled life with a diagnosis of dementia, providing the correct support is in place, and am passionate about working to achieve this.

When I'm not working I have two young children and a cheeky cat who keeps me busy! I enjoy being outside and in recent years have taken up cold water swimming. My aim is to keep swimming all through winter!”
